Oriented on making people closer

During the International Trade Show for Education (ITSE) 2025, held in Ashgabat, a representative of Istanbul Medipol University, Abdullah Selim, stated that the educational institution continues to be one of the most popular among Turkmen students. According to him, Medipol is the primary university where a significant majority of students from Turkmenistan are enrolled. "Our university takes pride in being the principal choice for Turkmen students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad," Mr. Selim noted. "Annually, we admit approximately 2,500 Turkmen students across our various faculties".

Medipol University offers a broad spectrum of educational programs across its 12 faculties and over one hundred departments. However, as reported by the university representative, the most popular fields of study among Turkmen students are those related to business and economics. Instruction in these programs is conducted in both English and Turkish. Abdullah Selim emphasized that all necessary conditions have been established at the university to ensure the comfortable living of Turkmen students.

Speaking about the quality of education, the Medipol representative highlighted the university's high standing in global rankings. "Our university is among the top 600 universities worldwide, which attests to the high level of teaching, particularly in fields such as healthcare and engineering," he stated.

Medipol University also provides opportunities to encourage talented students. The top students in each faculty, ranking first, second, and third, receive tuition discounts of 50% and 25%, respectively.

Abdullah Selim shared achievements of Turkmen students: "Last year, the top student in eight faculties was from Turkmenistan. This student received a 100% scholarship and is currently continuing their studies free of charge. Furthermore, five other Turkmen students of ours secured second and third places and also received significant discounts. Our university truly offers excellent opportunities for development.
