Oriented on making people closer

Today, on April 23, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov were presented with Kyrgyz national equestrian games at the hippodrome in the village of Baktuu-Dolonotuu in the Issyk-Kul region.

Akyns-improvisers greeted the distinguished guests at the entrance to the hippodrome, after which the delegation got acquainted with the ethno-complex "Kyrgyz Aiyly", where elements of the traditional way of life of the Kyrgyz people were demonstrated - yurts, folk crafts, national cuisine and costumes.

Also, at the hippodrome, horse competitions, elements of hunting with birds of prey and taigans (Kyrgyz greyhound) were shown as part of the traditional hunting art "Salbuurun".

At the end of the cultural program, President Sadyr Japarov escorted Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Issyk-Kul International Airport, the press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan reports.
