On April 22, Earth Day is celebrated all over the world.

This year, it is being held under the slogan "Our Planet's Energy" which emphasizes the necessity of transitioning to renewable energy sources (RES) as a crucial step towards a sustainable future.

Earth Day has initiated the third edition of the European Union's global campaign to address climate change and natural crises around the world, #ForOurPlanet.

This year's #ForOurPlanet campaign is dedicated to the topic of the circular economy, in line with EU Green Week 2025. The focus will be on repair, reuse, recycling, and sharing.

The circular economy implies a different perspective: preserving value within the economy, encouraging creativity and entrepreneurship, and enjoying beloved products for longer. Simply pause and consider before discarding something. Significant changes often begin with small actions!

The annual global campaign #ForOurPlanet was launched in 2022 with the aim of raising awareness and calling for environmentally friendly actions.

This year, #ForOurPlanet is joining forces with the European Training Foundation's Green Skills Award 2025 to launch a new category recognizing outstanding local projects that contribute to progress in the circular economy.

Delegations of the European Union (EU) around the world are calling for participation in the campaign!
