Students from Turkmenistan achieved noteworthy success at the International Olympiad for University Students in Theoretical Mechanics, which took place from April 8th to 14th, 2025, in the Republic of Belarus.

Specifically, the third-place winners in the team competition were Yazjumayeva Ayna and Atayeva Dursunjemal, students from the Turkmen State Energy Institute in Mary.

The Olympiad is an annual event held at the Belarusian State University of Transport in the city of Gomel.

Over its years of existence, it has garnered significant prestige among educators and students of technical universities from CIS countries, as well as Europe and Asia.

This year, the competition saw the participation of over one hundred representatives from Russia, China, Turkmenistan, and the Republic of Belarus.
