The President of Turkmenistan met with the Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Interparliamentary Friendship group
14.04.2025 | 15:45 |Today, during his visit to Japan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Endo Toshiaki, Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Interparliamentary Friendship group, as reported by TDH.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan places significant importance on expanding and strengthening intergovernmental dialogue with Japan in the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, relations between the two countries are consistently developing in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Interparliamentary cooperation is also a key area of multilateral interaction between Turkmenistan and Japan, now serving as a crucial instrument for strengthening mutual understanding and trust between states and peoples.
In this context, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov particularly highlighted the activities of the Turkmen-Japanese Interparliamentary Friendship group in consolidating ties in this domain.
Previously, it was reported that the President of Turkmenistan participated in the ceremonial events dedicated to Turkmenistan's National Day at EXPO-2025.
