Turkmenistan to showcase export potential at exhibition in Iranian Gurgen

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev reported at a government meeting on the preparations for holding an exhibition of goods made in our country in May this year in the city of Gurgen, Islamic Republic of Iran.
As noted in the report, the main goals of the upcoming event are to expand trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran, as well as to familiarize Iranian businessmen and consumers with a wide range of export opportunities in Turkmenistan.
The exhibition is planned to showcase export-oriented products of key sectors of the national economy of Turkmenistan. It is expected that goods from the textile, agricultural and food industries, as well as products from other sectors with export potential will be presented. Particular attention will be paid to products manufactured by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, which emphasizes the contribution of the private sector to the development of the country's export activities.
The choice of the city of Gurgen as the venue for the exhibition is not accidental. This city is located in the northern part of Iran and is an important economic and trade center with a developed infrastructure and established ties with other regions of the country, as well as with the states of Central Asia. Turkmenistan's participation in this exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to establish direct contacts between Turkmen manufacturers and Iranian partners, find new markets and attract potential investors.
It is expected that the exhibition in Gurgen will be an important step in enhancing bilateral trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Iran, will contribute to increasing trade turnover and strengthening mutually beneficial partnership between the two neighboring and friendly states.
