On April 10, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic organized an event at the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas," dedicated to the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.

As part of the program, a Day of Turkmenistan was held with the participation of faculty, students, and representatives of the academic community.

At the initiative of the Embassy, a lecture was conducted, highlighting Turkmenistan’s key achievements in both domestic and foreign policy, as well as the country’s priority initiatives within international organizations on matters of mutual interest. Special attention was given to the activities implemented in the context of the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The importance of the philosophy of international relations, "Dialogue – a guarantee of peace," proposed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, was emphasized as a relevant concept in the modern conditions of global diplomacy.

The event concluded with a video presentation about Turkmenistan and a themed exhibition showcasing the cultural and historical heritage of the country.
