Oriented on making people closer

On April 9, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the pace of construction of the second stage of buildings and structures.

During the inspection, the National Leader of the Turkmen people was presented with the project of the avenue "Ahalteke atlary" (Akhal-Teke horses) with equestrian statues along it. Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan Deryageldi Orazov informed about this project. Sculptural images of the famous Akhal-Teke horses, which are the national pride of the Turkmen people, will be installed on pedestals, and information about their origin and the history of the breed will also be posted here.

Then the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan held a working meeting with the participation of Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the city of Arkadag Deryageldi Orazov and mayor of the city of Arkadag Gulshat Mammedova, as reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

Deryageldi Orazov, reporting on the progress of construction of facilities within the second stage of the new city, said that more than 50 domestic companies and individual enterprises are participating in the implementation of projects. Five companies, both Turkmen and foreign, are involved in the construction of medical cluster facilities.

Continuing his report, Deryageldi Orazov expressed deep gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty for the opportunity to make working visits to Japan and the Republic of Korea. The purpose of the trips was to document agreements with companies that expressed their readiness to participate in equipping the medical cluster facilities of the city of Arkadag with modern equipment.

It was also reported that international financial institutions are showing growing interest in cooperation with the city of Arkadag. Work is currently underway to attract grant funds for projects to implement advanced technologies and water recycling systems for the production of electricity from renewable sources, in particular, through the installation of solar panels. In addition, the possibility of allocating a grant for the construction of a modern bus station and a high-tech production complex within the second stage of development is being considered.

Along with the construction of the second-stage production facilities, the construction of social infrastructure facilities is actively continuing. At the design stage, one of the primary requirements is their harmonious combination with the surrounding natural landscape. A similar approach is applied to the improvement of adjacent territories, which together will help maintain a high environmental level in the city.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people gave a number of specific instructions to accelerate the pace of construction of the second-stage production facilities, as well as to work out issues of exporting products planned to be manufactured from local raw materials to the world market.

Then, mayor of the city of Arkadag, Gulshat Mammedova, presented information on the comprehensive preparations for the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse. As part of the report, it was noted that a working visit to the Principality of Monaco was held, where issues of establishing ties between the cities of the two countries were discussed. It was also reported that the presentation of keys to new residential buildings to horse breeders will be timed to the significant date.

Then the National Leader of the Turkmen people went to the construction site of the mosque, where he got acquainted with the presented projects. In the presence of the Mufti of Turkmenistan and the Imam of the Ahal velayat, it was given information about the architectural design of the mosque being built and the building materials used. The mosque will be able to simultaneously accommodate up to 30 thousand believers, including a separate room for women with 5 thousand seats.

It was emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken in the country to properly observe national traditions and celebrate the sacred holidays of Oraza Bayramy and Kurban Bayramy.

Special flights are being organized for compatriots wishing to perform the Hajj to Mecca and Medina. On behalf of the clergy and all the people, the Mufti of Turkmenistan expressed deep gratitude to Haji Arkadag and Arkadagly Haji Serdar for the tireless care and attention provided by the state in the spiritual sphere. These days, the Office of the Mufti of Turkmenistan is actively organizing work to send citizens who have expressed a desire to make a pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina.
