 The Alliance for the Protection of Heritage, in conjunction with the EU, is launching a call for project proposals dedicated to safeguarding the cultural heritage of Central Asia from climate threats

The Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH), in collaboration with the European Union's Foreign Policy Instruments, is launching a call for project proposals focused on safeguarding the cultural heritage of Central Asia from climate threats.

This call for proposals was presented by the Executive Director of the Alliance for the Protection of Heritage (ALIPH), Valéry Freland, at the recent Aral Cultural Summit in Nukus, Uzbekistan.

Eligible applicants include institutions, private organizations, universities, and research centers engaged in the protection of cultural heritage.

They are invited to submit their projects, which should demonstrate a measurable socio-economic impact. Funding will be provided for small-scale projects (up to 30,000 USD) and medium-scale projects (up to 200,000 USD).

Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2025, and the results will be announced in December 2025.
