The Ambassador of Japan to Turkmenistan visited the Balkan velayat

The Ambassador of Japan to Turkmenistan, Mr. Hiroshi Sasaki, undertook a visit to the Balkan velayat.

As reported on the website of the Japanese diplomatic mission, during the visit, the Ambassador met with the hakim of the Balkan velayat, Mr. Hojamyrat Ashyrmyradov. The interlocutors discussed opportunities for further cooperation, including within the framework of projects for the construction of factories with the participation of Japanese companies.

The diplomat also visited the village of Gerkez, the birthplace of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi, and other historical sites in the velayat.
