Oriented on making people closer

The Russian multimedia information center "Известия" launched a virtual interactive museum entitled "The Great Victory" on March 31, 2025, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

This unique project has been created using modern visualization technologies and offers users an immersive experience into the atmosphere of historical events. The museum comprises seven thematic halls: "Heroes of Victory", "Living History", "Weapons of Victory", "Victorious Battles", "Everything for Victory", "Military Commanders", and "Victory Through the Lens of "Известия".

Each hall contains unique archival materials, 3D models of military equipment, interactive maps, and animated photographs of war correspondents, as well as interviews with veterans. For example, in the "Weapons of Victory" hall, visitors can examine 3D models of aircraft, tanks, and small arms in a 360° format.

The "Victorious Battles" section offers interactive maps where users can study strategically important battles and the tactics employed by Soviet soldiers.

The exposition will be regularly updated, and some of its elements are already being broadcast on media facades across the country, thereby expanding access to historical materials.
