Turkmen youth will participate in the "Memory Train" project dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory
02.04.2025 | 11:15 |Turkmen youth, along with representatives from Russia and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, will participate in the "Memory Train" project, which is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Inna Svyatenko, speaking at the International Conference "The Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the sake of Children" in the city of Arkadag.
The project will involve 200 high school students who are descendants of the victors. Participants will have the opportunity to visit significant historical sites and memorials, which will allow them to gain a deeper understanding of the history and significance of the Victory.
The "Memory Train" project traditionally commences from Brest on June 22nd. The project was first implemented in 2022 and has since become an important part of cultural exchange and youth education.
