Luka Koper, the Slovenian port situated on the Adriatic coast, is planning to become a member of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

This decision was discussed during recent negotiations between Kazakhstan and Slovenia, wherein both parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation within the spheres of transport and logistics.

The accession of the Port of Luka Koper to the TITR is anticipated to enhance transport connections between Europe and Asia, providing swifter and more efficient routes for freight transport.

The Port of Luka Koper already possesses developed infrastructure and a strategic location, rendering it a significant hub in international logistics. It is expected that this collaboration will contribute to an increase in cargo volumes and the economic development of both nations.
