On March 29th, at the "Diller Dünýäsi" language center, a meeting was organized with young people on the topic of translation activities and their methods. This event was a joint initiative of the "Young Entrepreneurs" center under the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, in collaboration with the information, consulting, and volunteer movement center of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, and the educational consulting company "Nusga Consulting".

Interested youth of Ashgabat, as well as students from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions studying and passionate about translation, actively participated in the event.

During the meeting, Merdan Atayev, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, educator, and translator, along with Oguljennet Bashimova, head of the department of the "Ashgabat" TV channel, writer, and poet, and others, delivered engaging presentations about their professional experiences.

The presentations covered topics such as simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, written translation, translation of documentation, as well as translation activities in the fields of tourism, healthcare, and engineering. These discussions proved beneficial for the young translators.

The assembled young translators attentively listened to the advice of mentors and received comprehensive answers to their questions of interest.

The meeting included not only presentations and question-and-answer sessions but also served as an effective platform for the exchange of opinions among young enthusiasts of translation.

The regular holding of such meetings plays an important role in the development of future professional translators.
