In Turkmenistan, the strengthening of the material and technical base of the railway industry will continue. As part of the modernization of the infrastructure of the Turkmenbashy city railway station in the Balkan velayat, an upgrade of the railcar cleaning facility is planned.

This was reported during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers by the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, M. Chakyev, who submitted the corresponding proposal for consideration by the Head of State.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the efficient utilization of the country's modern railway infrastructure and instructed that the operation of railway stations be organized in accordance with current requirements. Having approved the proposal, the Head of State instructed the leadership of the agency to take the necessary measures for its implementation.
