On March 28, 2025, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia will host a conference dedicated to the proclamation of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust". This is reported on the website of the higher education institution.

The corresponding Resolution, initiated by Turkmenistan, was unanimously adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations.

The event, which will be organized jointly with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia, will serve as a platform for dialogue among experts, diplomats, scholars, and media representatives. They will discuss ways to strengthen international cooperation, humanitarian initiatives, and the role of the media in fostering trust between peoples.

The conference will commence at 11:00 AM.
