Azerbaijan introduced its culture as part of an eco-campaign in Turkmenistan
22.03.2025 | 21:45 |The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan took an active part in the traditional competition "World Cuisine", which was held in the Berzengi sanatorium as part of a nationwide tree planting campaign. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of diplomatic missions of various states and international organizations.
The Azerbaijani stand aroused great interest among the guests and participants of the competition. Visitors were able to get acquainted with samples of national cuisine, reflecting the centuries-old traditions of Azerbaijan, as well as admire decorative and applied art products and the main attributes of the spring holiday of Novruz. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, together with officials, got acquainted with the presented exposition.

Representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan also told the guests about the significance of the Novruz holiday, which symbolizes peace, friendship and unity, which echoes the spirit of international cooperation that reigned at the event.
The "World Cuisine" competition, held as part of the environmental initiative, was a highlight that promoted cultural exchange and strengthened friendly ties between Turkmenistan and other countries. Azerbaijan's participation highlighted the close relations and common cultural traditions between the two fraternal nations, especially in the context of the Novruz celebration.
