 Briefing dedicated to the Year of Peace and Trust, Neutrality of Turkmenistan was held in Istanbul

The Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey organized a briefing event in Istanbul aimed at widely covering Turkmenistan's initiatives in connection with the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality.

The event was attended by the heads of the leading Turkish university Bahcesehir, representatives of the "Turkic World" club of Istanbul universities, Turkmen and foreign students, including from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as correspondents of local media.

Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul Muhammetnur Ovezov in his speech focused on the importance of high-level international events that will be held during 2025 in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality. He also presented information on the global initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, and acquainted the participants with the Concept of the main directions of the country's activities for the current year.

During the briefing, the special significance of 2025 was emphasized, which marks not only the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, but also the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, which gives special meaning to the international and state events planned for this period.

One of the key moments of the event was the presentation of the new book by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Hakyda Göwheri" ("Pearl of Memory").

The briefing in Istanbul became an important platform for promoting the principles of peace and trust, as well as for familiarizing the international community with key aspects of Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy in the anniversary year.
