According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), the foreign trade volume between Turkmenistan and Georgia reached $81.03 million USD in 2024. The export of Georgian products to Turkmenistan increased by 158% compared to 2023, totaling $22.939 million USD, as reported by Business Georgia.

In 2023, this figure stood at $8.888 million USD. The import of Turkmen products to Georgia in 2024 amounted to $58.090 million USD.

Key imports from Turkmenistan to Georgia include:

• Oil and oil products - $45.458 million

• Petroleum coke and bitumen - $4.834 million

• Gypsum-based construction mixtures - $1.697 million

• Nitrogen fertilizers - $1.055 million

• Trucks - $831 thousand

Key Georgian exports to Turkmenistan comprise:

• Poultry meat and by-products - $11.382 million

• Orthopedic appliances and artificial body parts - $2.633 million

• Packaged pharmaceuticals - $1.831 million

• Passenger cars - $1.096 million

• Ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages - $927.2 thousand

It is also noteworthy that in January 2025, the export volume from Georgia to Turkmenistan was $290.1 thousand, while the import of Turkmen goods was $1.441 million.
