On February 28, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held an international educational and methodological conference on the topic "Language is an important means of good relations", organized in a digital format. The event was timed to the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's accession to the UN and the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent Neutrality. Teachers of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan, as well as a number of foreign universities, took an active part in the conference.

The teachers who spoke at the international educational and methodological conference discussed the importance of studying foreign languages, modern methods of teaching them, as well as their important role in the field of international relations.

The online conference brought together professors and teachers of universities in Turkmenistan, as well as the United States, Azerbaijan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Armenia, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Romania and Hungary. It became a platform for exchanging experiences and opinions in this area.

At the end of the event, its participants adopted an Appeal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
