Chinese authorities have announced their intention to accelerate customs clearance procedures for high-tech and medical cargo at the nation's airports. This decision comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance international passenger and cargo air transportation, as well as to facilitate trade and people-to-people exchanges, according to Xinhua News Agency.

Specifically, "green lanes" will be established at airports to expedite customs processing for designated categories of cargo, including high-tech equipment, medical devices, and biological products. The new approach encompasses the implementation of 16 measures aimed at streamlining cargo clearance procedures, passenger screening, and improving logistics services. Furthermore, support will be provided to cross-border e-commerce enterprises to enable them to utilize air transport more efficiently.
