Oriented on making people closer

At a meeting on Thursday, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Beijing Parakhat Durdyev and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Liu Bin reviewed the main results of bilateral partnership over the past year. The parties noted that Turkmen-Chinese strategic partnership relations are developing dynamically in a wide range of areas and contacts at the highest level play a decisive role in enhancing interaction.

Ambassador Durdyev noted that, on the initiative of Turkmenistan, the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution declaring 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust. It was emphasized that this year also marks the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. In this regard, the diplomat handed over official invitation letters on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan to the International Forum of Peace and Trust, addressed to the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, Premier of the State Council Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
