Oriented on making people closer

At the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, a meeting was held with the director of the Moscow Information Center of the United Nations, chairman of the UN country team in Russia Vladimir Kuznetsov.

The parties expressed mutual interest in the joint implementation of projects within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust. For the practical implementation of this initiative in the host country, the Embassy developed a plan of practical measures, in the implementation of which the UN Information Center will play an important role.

Special attention was paid to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality Turkmenistan and the 80th anniversary of the UN. It was decided to organize a series of joint events, including conferences, round tables and exhibitions, to promote the ideas of peace, neutrality and sustainable development, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Moscow reported.

The head of the UN Information Center emphasized the importance of Turkmenistan's initiatives in the field of peacebuilding and noted that the UN team in Russia is ready to support the embassy and actively cooperate in promoting ideas aimed at achieving sustainable development and creating a safer and more prosperous world.
