Oriented on making people closer

The leading universities of Tatarstan, located in Yelabuga and Naberezhnye Chelny, hosted the presentation of the book Magtymguly – Thinker of the World”, authored by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

During the event, G.A. Garaev, Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan), highlighted the importance of the book, emphasizing that it is dedicated to the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy, whose contribution to world culture is invaluable.

He also reminded attendees that Turkmenistan celebrated the 300th anniversary of the poet’s birth in 2024, affirming that Magtymguly's work remains a symbol of peace, humanism, and the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people.

The book presentation sparked significant interest among students and faculty, becoming a key part of the events held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust, declared by Turkmenistan in 2025.
