Lenovo unveils the first laptop with an extendable screen

At the annual international Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025), Lenovo presented its new ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 laptop, which became the world's first mass-produced device with an extendable screen.

This innovation allows users to increase the screen size from 14 inches to 16.7 inches. This significantly improves multitasking and content work capabilities. The main screen is based on OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology with a resolution of 2000 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which ensures high image quality and smooth operation.

The extension mechanism is activated by pressing a button on the keyboard or by a gesture in front of the webcam. The company guarantees the reliability of the mechanism, designed for 30,000 opening and closing cycles.

The laptop is also equipped with a powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD.

ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 will be an interesting choice for business professionals and creative specialists who require more workspace. It will be available for purchase starting in the first quarter of 2025.
