USAID YDA is now accepting applications for the NEBOSH IGC Training and International Certification Program
24.12.2024 | 20:35 |The USAID Youth Development Activity (YDA) invites young people to participate in the NEBOSH IGC training and international certification program in Turkmenistan. This program is implemented by USAID YDA in collaboration with the Turkmen company “Kamiran” and the “Industrial and Operational Support Services” (IOSS)” International Training Center.
The purpose of this USAID YDA program is to establish the NEBOSH training and international professional certification system and practices in Turkmenistan.
The program is aimed at creating opportunities for youth to undergo training and obtain the international professional certification that is in demand in Turkmenistan’s labor market.
The NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) certification is recognized internationally and offers a wide range of opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
The NEBOSH certificate attests to the holder’s high level of knowledge and expertise in occupational health and safety.
The program includes a 10-day training course on occupational health and safety. Participants who successfully pass the exam will receive an international NEBOSH IGC certificate.
The training will be held in person (offline) in Ashgabat in January 2025.
The training will be conducted in Russian by international accredited experts.
Residents of Turkmenistan under the age of 28 with secondary-vocational or higher education and experience in occupational health and safety are eligible to participate in the program.
Participants will be selected through a competitive process.
Participation in the program is free of charge.
