In Japan has been invented a washing machine for humans

This futuristic machine for washing people is set to be presented at the Osaka Kansai Expo in April 2025, according to The Asahi Shimbun.

The device is being developed by Science Co., a manufacturer of showerheads based in Osaka. It is a new version of the human washing machine that generated a lot of buzz at the 1970 World Expo in Japan. According to the developers, seven to eight people will be able to use it for washing and drying each day.

The human washing machine is designed like a fighter jet cabin and even features a transparent lid that opens backward. The machine is partially filled with hot water when the user sits down in the center seat. Sensors embedded in the seat measure the person's pulse and other biological data to ensure the user is being washed at the right temperature.

An artificial intelligence system determines whether the user is calm or stressed and projects images onto the inside of the transparent lid to help the person relax and unwind. The washing and drying process takes 15 minutes.

Visitors to the expo will have the opportunity to try the device. The manufacturer plans to release a version for home use in the future.
