Turkmen-American business forum in Ashgabat opens new horizons for partnership
17.12.2024 | 02:35 |On December 16, the Turkmen-American Business Forum was held in Ashgabat, bringing together a delegation of American entrepreneurs led by the Executive Director of the Turkmen-American Business Council, Eric Stewart, and representatives from Turkmenistan.
The visit of the Council's head was described as an important step towards strengthening productive cooperation between the business communities of the two countries. Participants emphasized the friendly nature of Turkmen-American relations and noted Turkmenistan's readiness, in line with its strategy of economic diversification, to actively attract advanced global technologies and best practices.
The American side expressed interest in expanding cooperation, reaffirming its intention to participate in the implementation of large-scale government programs. Special attention was given to the role of the Turkmen-American Business Council as a platform for strengthening economic ties. Regular forums, exhibitions, and business meetings contribute to building close contacts between the public and private sectors of both countries.
During the forum, prospects for cooperation in investment, high technologies, and expanding trade turnover were discussed. Specific plans were outlined for developing collaboration in priority sectors.
American businesspeople highlighted Turkmenistan's high economic potential and expressed readiness to continue fruitful partnerships. During bilateral meetings with representatives of Turkmen ministries, agencies, and the private sector, agreements were reached to deepen cooperation further.
