Delegation of the State Academy of Turkmenistan took part in the Forum of Academies of Governance and Public Administration in China
02.11.2024 | 10:30 |The delegation from the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, led by the Rector took part in the Forum of Academies of Governance and Public Administration titled “Joint Efforts on Modernizing Management Potential” held in Beijing in late October.
The event was also attended by representatives of the National Academy of Governance of the People's Republic of China and governance academies from Central Asian countries.
Within the framework of the forum, the vice-rector of the National Academy of Governance of the People's Republic of China met with delegations of governance academies of Central Asian countries. The parties exchanged views on further improvement of the cooperation system established between the governance academies. The delegates also visited the library and museum of the National Academy of Governance of the PRC.
This forum will give new content to bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of education and will give impetus to strengthening ties between higher education institutions in Central Asia and China. The network will promote further cooperation in the field of training and education of civil servants, strengthen joint work on discussing issues of strengthening cooperation in training, exchange of specialists, educational and consulting activities in the field of public administration, conducting regular short and long-term research and educational programs, courses, lectures in such areas as digital governance, innovations in public administration, ethics of civil servants.
The participation of representatives of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan in the forum of this format clearly demonstrates efforts to enhance joint cooperation with international organizations and relevant institutions of foreign countries to study innovative experience in the field of digital governance, institutional development and increasing the capacity of civil servants.
