The OGT Expo, which is being held in parallel with the conference, showcases the best achievements of the domestic and global oil and gas industries, complemented by new ideas and features that align with current trends in the sector's development. Senior leadership and representatives from both Turkmenistan's state organizations and leading international oil and gas companies, as well as major international financial institutions, are participating in the conference and exhibition.

At the center of OGT-2024’s attention is Turkmenistan's vast resource potential. It is worth noting that the country is one of the largest players in the Asian oil and gas market, ranking fourth in the world in proven natural gas reserves, following Russia, Iran, and Qatar. The State Concerns "Turkmengaz" and "Turkmennebit" play a key role in the development of Turkmenistan's energy sector.

It is important to emphasize that "Turkmengaz" is engaged in the exploration, production, and export of natural gas, which forms the backbone of the country's economy. The concern is actively developing new gas fields, modernizing infrastructure, and implementing both national and international projects, thereby strengthening Turkmenistan's position. The exhibition will continue until October 25 (inclusive).
