The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan and the Japanese project “Children Get to Know Countries” jointly held an educational event that helped students from one of Tokyo’s elementary schools learn about Turkmenistan and its life.
The event included lessons on the history, geography, and culture of the country, national music and dances were performed, and an exhibition introducing the national heritage was organized. In particular, during the educational sessions, there was told about great poet Magtymguly Fragi, the Turkmen embassy reported.
The event was attended by elementary school students and their parents, who were probably also interested in learning something new about Turkmenistan.
