Oriented on making people closer

In recent years, Turkmen universities have been actively entering the international educational arena, as evidenced by their presence in prestigious global rankings.

Thus, the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly has been included in the World University Ranking 2025 from the British agency Times Higher Education (THE) with the status of “reporter”. This status indicates that the university is an active participant in the ranking process, having provided data for subsequent evaluation.

This ranking takes into account criteria such as academic reputation, publications, and international cooperation, highlighting the significance for the country's educational system of Turkmen universities' inclusion in this global register.

Additionally, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi ranked first in the country and 940th in the international Round University Ranking (RUR), which covers more than 1,200 universities from 85 countries. The institute demonstrated good results in the areas of teaching, research and financial stability, as reported on the website of the Ministry of Education.

These steps reflect the growing quality of Turkmen higher education and its integration into the global educational space.
