Days of Russian Culture will be held in Ashgabat
08.10.2024 | 23:45 |Next week, various events will take place in Ashgabat within the framework of the Days of Russian Culture, the venue for which will be the Palace of Mukams.
The Days of Culture of the Russian Federation will be opened on October 16 by a concert of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea “Nalmes”. The program includes ancient dance “Islamey”, dance with daggers, choreographic compositions, medleys on folk instruments, etc. The exhibition “Patchwork Mosaic of Russia” will be displayed on the same day, prepared by the State Russian House of Folk Art named after V. D. Polenov.
On October 16 and 17, Dmitry Masleyev, winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition and laureate of numerous other national and international competitions, will conduct two master classes.
On October 17, a series of events will continue with a classical music concert titled "Towards the Anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky," which will take place at the Mukams Palace. The concert will feature performances of works by Tchaikovsky and Sergei Rachmaninov by international competition laureate Dmitry Masleyev.
Additionally, a master class will be held by the soloists of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea “Nalmes” and the opening of the exhibition titled "Planet Tchaikovsky", also scheduled, which is dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Tchaikovsky's birth. The exhibition has been prepared by the Russian National Museum of Music, as reported on the website of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
