The Head of the Turkmen state, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday, sending a message to his Russian counterpart which, in particular, notes: "We in Turkmenistan highly appreciate your significant personal contribution to the development of friendly relations between our countries and hope for the further strengthening of our strategic partnership, based on long-standing traditions of mutual respect, trust, and good neighborliness".

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also sent heartfelt congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing: "Traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Russia, which have a long-term and strategic nature, are constantly developing across a wide range of areas".

The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed confidence that, through joint efforts, Turkmen-Russian intergovernmental ties and mutually beneficial partnerships will continue to strengthen for the benefit of both nations.

Both the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the Esteemed President wished the Head of the Russian Federation sound health, vitality and energy, as well as new successes.

Turkmen-Russian relations, as is well known, are built on a solid foundation of friendship and cooperation, as well as historical, cultural, and economic ties.

Both countries actively collaborate in various fields, contributing to the strengthening of regional stability and the prosperity of the peoples living there.

At the same time, Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation see significant potential for further expanding their partnership in new areas.

On Monday, Putin is celebrating his birthday. He turns 72 years old.
