Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Discusses in Turkmenistan Pilgrim Services
07.10.2024 | 03:18 |Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabeeah has paid an official visit to Turkmenistan leading a high-level delegation dedicated to pilgrim services.
During the visit, numerous consultations and meetings were held to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan in the field of pilgrim services. The focus was on how to improve and enrich the pilgrims’ experience so that they can perform their rituals with ease and comfort.
Dr. Al-Rabeeah welcomed the guests of God from Central Asia and stressed the Kingdom’s commitment to creating conditions that contribute to the convenience and safety of pilgrims, the Saudi news agency SPA reported.
During the visit, the Minister of Hajj Affairs met with Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan for Education, Science, Health and Social Sphere Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, as well as with the country's Mufti Yalkap Khodjagulyev.
In addition, an important meeting of the Saudi delegation, which also included the Chairman of the KSA Civil Aviation Authority, was held with Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakyev. They discussed ways of cooperation and coordination to improve services and procedures related to the travel of pilgrims from Turkmenistan.
These events are part of the international efforts aimed at realizing the goals of the Service to God's Guests Program within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The main objective of the program is to ensure that the needs of pilgrims and visitors from all over the world are met through improved coordination and collaboration with relevant authorities.
Thus, the visit of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs strengthens the ties between Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan and emphasizes the importance of comfortable and safe pilgrimage for Muslims.
