 Ambassador of Turkmenistan presented his credentials to the President of Bulgaria

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Bulgaria, with residence in Moscow, Esen Aydogdyev presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Georgiev Radev on Wednesday, September 18.

The head of Bulgaria congratulated the Turkmen diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in his work, expressing confidence that the friendly and respectful relations between Turkmenistan and Bulgaria will continue in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan, in turn, assured the President of Bulgaria that he would do everything necessary to continue the traditions of cooperation, mutual understanding and mutually beneficial partnership.

During the conversation, the parties noted their readiness to intensify the political and diplomatic dialogue between Turkmenistan and Bulgaria both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international organizations, and to build up trade and economic partnership. In this context, the significant role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Bulgarian Commission on Economic Cooperation was noted. Much attention was also paid to expanding the cultural and humanitarian dialogue.

At the end of the meeting, Bulgarian President Radev conveyed greetings and best wishes to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmen diplomatic mission reported.
