The Asian e-Sports Federation tournament, which brought together the best cyber athletes in the region, was held at a high level, and Valeriy demonstrated strategic thinking while battling against the strongest opponents. This achievement emphasises the growing level of cybersports in Turkmenistan and shows that the country is beginning to advance its position on the international stage. "A bronze medal at such a prestigious tournament is a great success for the team and motivation for future victories," the federation said. It also added that Valeriy became a member of the cyber sports team of Turkmenistan in the discipline of "eFootball Mobile" not so long ago, and earlier he performed in the discipline of "PUBG Mobile".
The international tournament "Your Home Your Arena" was held in online format between cybersportsmen from Turkmenistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The YHYA 2024 Cup was a round-robin format with up to two wins in two dynamic groups: Group A and Group B. The top two teams from each group competed for the play-offs. Meanwhile, KGZ.Elturan11 and TKM.baboon fought fiercely for third place.
In the end, KAZ.justNurba_kz won the title of champion, UZB.From_Uzbekistan took second place and TKM.baboon secured third place. From the $6000 prize fund, KAZ.justNurba_kz earned $2,500, UZB.From_Uzbekistan received $2,000 and TKM.baboon earned $1,500. The prize money will be used to support women and community development programmes in the winning countries, according to the Asian e-Sports Federation.
