 Representatives of Turkmenistan participated in a seminar on cross-border logistics in Beijing

Representatives of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan took an active part in the seminar on cross-border logistics in Beijing. The event was held from 30 July to 12 August under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. It was organized by the Academy of International Business Officials (AIBO).

The seminar brought together experts, government officials and industry specialists to discuss issues of cross-border logistics in the context of global development. The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was represented by senior lecturers Perhat Charyev and Gapbar Khallyev.

One of the key points of the seminar is the emphasis on the role of cross-border logistics in facilitating international trade and economic growth. As the world is becoming increasingly interconnected, the need for efficient and effective logistics solutions is increasing. The seminar provided participants with a platform to share best practices, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for cooperation in the field of cross-border logistics, including in the context of the ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative.

Participants emphasized the importance of creating reliable logistics networks to support the flow of goods and services across borders. They also highlighted the need for closer cooperation between Governments, stakeholders and international organizations to address the challenges faced by the logistics industry.

Seminar participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in cross-border logistics, as well as innovative solutions and technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations. The training provided a valuable opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing, fostering a deeper understanding and cooperation in the field of cross-border logistics.

For seminar participants, visits to enterprises, field trips to other Chinese cities, meetings with officials, and a rich cultural program were organized.

The seminars organized by AIBO cover a wide range of topics such as economic administration, trade and investment, urban planning and administration, telecommunications, port and inland waterway management, transport, construction of development zones, logistics management, natural resource development, international labor cooperation, coordinated development of urban and rural areas, wireless communication and digital television technologies, clean energy and others.
