Institute of Artificial Intelligence opened in Kazakhstan
18.07.2024 | 10:35 |The republic’s first Institute of Artificial Intelligence has been opened in Kazakhstan, reports the online publication Orient Express 24.
A new institute was established in Kyzylorda on the basis of the local university named after Korkyt Ata.
This year, the institute awarded 100 grants in four educational programs: “Informatics”, “Information Systems”, “Cyber Security” and “Computer Programming and Software Development”.
In the future, the educational institution plans to open modern laboratories and introduce advanced educational programs.
Along with technical knowledge, students will also master foreign languages. So, in addition to Russian and Kazakh, students will study English and Korean.
A joint project between Kazakhstan and South Korea will allow Kazakh students to gain access to advanced knowledge in the field of information technology and the opportunity to conduct joint research.
