Oriented on making people closer

The first carrier rocket of Turkish manufacture was launched successfully into the orbit of the Earth within the limits of project MUFS realised since 2018 by company ROKETSAN with support of Management of defensive industry of Turkey, - as informs Turkish news agency Anadolu.

The device has reached the height of 130 km. The rocket has successfully overcome the Pocket line (100 km above sea level) which conditionally is accepted as the top border of states. The president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan shared in social networks a photo of the orbit of the Earth received from the national carrier rocket.

Project MUFS is planned to finish by 2025. Before experts of ROKETSAN is set an object in view to create the carrier rocket, capable to take into orbit a satellite with a weight as much as 100 kg. And it concerns a low circumterraneous orbit (400 km and more). At present the project is realised ahead of schedule by one year.
