Bayern Munich beat Olympique Lyonnais 3-0 in the Champions League semifinal, having proved a status of the tournament favorite.
The French team boldly started the match and created several moments at the very beginning of the game. Lyon captain Memphis Depay missed a great early clear scoring opportunity. The Dutchman went round Manuel Neuer but, with the angle tightening, he could only find the side-netting with his shot.
Serge Gnabry struck for Bayern in the 18th minute despite an attacking start from Lyon. He struck again in the 33rd minute to double Bayern’s lead before the half-time break.
Bavaria’s Polish forward Robert Lewandowski scored from a header in the 88th minute to make it 3-0 finish. Three minutes before the end of the match, Lewandowski was the most efficient in the penalty area of the French team and sent the ball into the net with his head. His performance is awesome, as during this Champions League, Robert has scored in all nine matches in which he took part.
Bayern Munich awaits another French team in the final, but this time the rival is more formidable. In terms of performers and players, Paris Saint-Germain holds their own name as the Germans do.
For Bayern, it will be 11th Champions League Final in the club’s history. Be honesty, not all matches were successful, but they played hard to prove the status of five-time champions.
As for Paris St.-Germain, it will be their first trip to the final of European soccer’s top club competition. After all the wrong turns, all the heartache and disappointment, and the turnarounds and the gut-wrenching collapses, Paris St.-Germain has finally done what it was designed and built to do. It is a good chance for Neymar and Mbappe to add their names in gold letters to make history for the football club from the banks of the Seine.
Champions League Final will be played on 23 August 2020 at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. The live broadcast of the match will begin at 23:55 Ashgabat time.
