On May 14-19, 2024, the country’s largest trading platform for Muslims, the International Trade Fair Kazan Halal Market, will take place in Russia (Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan).

The fair will be held as part of the annual International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”, which traditionally brings together representatives of all countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

“In recent years, trade turnover between Russia and the OIC states has been growing. In 2021, it amounted to $113.3 billion, which is 43.2% more than in 2017,” OIC Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Taha said in an address to the KazanForum-2023 participants. New opportunities, in his opinion, are opened by the halal market and mutual supplies of products that comply with Islamic norms.

“The global Halal market is growing very quickly and is now valued at $2.6 trillion. I hope that the work of the Forum will contribute to the further development of the Halal industry in Russia and trade. And by 2028, the market is expected to be more than $11 trillion,” the OIC Secretary General noted in May 2023.

The development of industry and foreign trade is promoted by the international fair of the best halal products within the KazanForum. deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation;

members of regional governments of the Russian Federation.

In 2024, the International Trade Fair Kazan Halal Market will be held on May 14-19 in the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park. Participants will be able to present their products on a sales area of 5 thousand square meters. The cost of participation is 210 USD for 1 equipped retail space with a display case.
