A book about the objects of the register of historical and cultural monuments of Turkmenistan is being prepared for publication
A book about objects included in the State Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the country will be published in Turkmenistan. Its release coincides with Culture Week, which is held in June. This year the event is being hosted by the city of Arkadag.
Recently, specialized scientific works “Antiquities of Turkmenistan”, “Architectural Heritage of Kunyaurgench”, “Historical and Cultural Monuments of Ancient Merv”, “Parthian Fortresses of Nisa”, “Traces of Centuries” have been published. Deputy Prime Minister Myahrijemal Mammedova spoke about this at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday, April 12.
She announced the beginning of a new season of archaeological field research, during which the work of joint expeditions will continue, in particular, the Turkmen-Russian one at the Gonurdepe monument, the Turkmen-American one at the Dandanakan fortress, the Turkmen-Italian one at the Togolok 1 complex (Margush) and Old Nisa fortress.
