Oriented on making people closer

The meeting of the heads of state of the CIS countries is scheduled for October 8 in Moscow. This was stated to journalists by the Secretary General of the CIS Sergey Lebedev following the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Commonwealth, held in Minsk.

He informed about the main results of the meeting and informed about the planned events.

Sergei Lebedev stressed: "The main event will be the summit of the heads of state on October 8 in Moscow, and on the eve (today it was decided) the next meeting of the CIS foreign ministers will take place," BelTA correspondent reports.

The meeting in Minsk took place on April 12 with the participation of delegations from nine countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
