Issues on Climate Change to be discussed during regional online dialogue
23.07.2020 | 15:34 |On July 29, the 8th Dialogue on Action for Climate Empowerment for Europe and Central Asia via video link will be held in accordance with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 2015 Paris Agreement.
The key topics to discuss during virtual forum include Climate Change Education, including Staff Training, Public Awareness on Climate Change, and International Cooperation on these issues. Implementation of all these key elements has increasingly been recognized as crucial in solving the complex challenges presented by climate change.
The 8th Dialogue Webinar will be open for participation by representatives of relevant bodies established under the UNFCCC, relevant experts, and countries concerned.
The Dialogue will seek to provide a forum for Parties to advance the discussions on recommendations and views on future work to enhance implementation of Action for Climate Empowerment.

The initiative to organize an annual in-session regional Dialogue on Action for Climate Empowerment was voiced by the Parties at the UN Conference on Climate Change.
