15.02.2024 | 19:47 |Employees of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics completed a 10-day training in Tokyo. A series of training seminars was held from February 5 to 15 under the program of joint knowledge creation in the field of statistical methods by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The seminar was attended by heads of sectoral departments of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, who studied approaches to improving and modernizing national statistical systems, improving the quality and reliability of statistical estimates of main macroeconomic indicators, according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
JICA's knowledge co-creation programs are a form of technical cooperation that JICA carries out in Japan. Some of the knowledge accumulated by Japanese society, including its experience in areas such as organizational know-how and social systems, can only be understood through direct experience. These programs are an important means of technical cooperation that supports human resource development.
