By decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Russian singer and composer of the Russian Federation Anna Shurochkina was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of Turkmenistan (Türkmenistanyň at gazanan artisti).
The document was published in the news release of the Turkmen State Television on Wednesday evening.
The honorary title of the popular Russian soloist, known by the stage name Nyusha, was awarded for special merits in strengthening friendship and brotherhood, good neighborliness and cooperation between the peoples of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, long-term relations between the two countries in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, as well as for talent and remarkable success in musical creativity.
