A representative office of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has opened in Ashgabat.

Report informs, Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov wrote about this on his account on the “X” social network.

“As part of a working trip to Turkmenistan, together with SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf, we took part in the opening of the SOCAR representative office in Ashgabat. This initiative is a manifestation of faith in strengthening the company’s long-term activities in Turkmenistan, in realizing the common interests of our countries in the field of energy,” M. Jabbarov wrote.
