The Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Kabul discussed joint projects with the head of the Afghan Foreign Ministry

During this meeting, detailed discussions were held on bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, in particular, special attention was paid to economic issues and major projects between the two countries, the Afghan Foreign Ministry reports.
Turkmenistan is actively engaged in the context of international efforts to stabilize the political and socio-economic situation in Afghanistan, regularly sends humanitarian supplies to the neighboring country, builds social facilities there, provides medical assistance to the population, promotes the economic recovery of the neighboring country through the implementation of projects such as the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, TAP power transmission lines, repair of railways, laying of new paths, etc.
In 2017, according to the relevant Agreement signed in Ashgabat, the Afghanistan–Turkmenistan–Azerbaijan–Georgia–Turkey transport corridor was created. Currently, every effort is being made to use this transport highway at full capacity.
