Advanced training courses for teaching staff by Russian specialists have started in Ashgabat. The courses are held on the basis of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan. More than 300 teachers, kindergarten teachers and higher school teachers will attend specialist classes for ten days.
Advanced training courses were organized by the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University as part of the development of bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan in the area of competence of the Russian Ministry of Education.
The grand opening of the courses took place on November 20 with the participation of representatives of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

Classes are taught by six teachers from Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical University. As part of the courses, Turkmen teachers will study modern technologies in teaching various subjects. Topics include: designing an activity- oriented lesson in the practice of a mathematics teacher; tools for the formation and assessment of educational results in the subject “computer science”; integrated lesson of the Russian language and literature using digital technologies; the use of technologies for developing reading literacy of junior schoolchildren in the practice of primary school teachers; diagnostics and formation of educational results in teaching biology and chemistry.
The courses will end on November 30th.

We previously reported that the Center for Russian Language Teaching and Open Education in Russian is planned to open in Turkmenistan with the participation of the Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical University.
